Andrews Air Force Base near Oxon Hill, MD

 While at Andrews, we participated in our Grand Daughter's first birthday, July 3, at our Daughter's house in Alexandria, VA.

 Ah the baloon toss.  Maile & Mom didn't fare as well in this competition.  However, Natalie did win the diving contest.  She used to be a lifeguard and is an excellent swimmer.

After a long day at the pool and a quick dinner back at the motor home, there was no "coaxing" the combatants into bed.  It was totally exhausting.  Can we remember the last time we had as much fun?  After we left Andrews on the 6th of July, we headed back to our bricks & sticks in Virginia Beach.  and a week later we celebrated Margie's third birthday.  Below are a couple pics from that evening at her house at the beach.

Well, that about wraps up this blog.  Next time we'll blog about our time at the PGA golf tourney held in Atlanta in August.  We did have a nice long summer.  And was it hot in Atlanta.  Wow!  So, till then, Joe & Nancy
