Snowing a bit one time & raining a couple others. Ate in a super crowded main street restaurant but didn't do the pie & ice cream thing. It's a twisty & scenic mountain road drive from the Blair Valley up to Julian. Looks like some nasty weather heading for Borrego Springs Saturday. Beautiful place, I remember there was a walk-up place selling apple pie by the slice, you had to stand in line and then you ate your pie outside on the sidewalk.
